Writings
Words.
They’re good, aren’t they? Very useful for describing things, and conveying information, I find. Except these words. These ones are just acting as a rather waffly preamble to a piece about my writing experience. But don’t let these unnecessary and time-wasting words put you off, I’m actually pretty good with words, most of the time. BEHOLD!
The Astonishing Adventures of Lord Likely
The Astonishing Adventures of Lord Likely is a web-fiction series of my own creation, written and illustrated by yours truly, and currently located at www.lordlikely.com
Started in 2007, the bawdy adventures of the lascivious and louche lord have quickly grown in popularity, now thrilling some 20,000 readers a month, and garnering a ‘Best of the Web’ mention on The Guardian Online’s website, and generating interest from one of the largest publishing houses in the UK, with a view to publishing a collection of his lordship’s adventures. Not too bad for a site begun for free on Blogger! HUZZAH!
In addition to pretending to be a Victorian drunk, I have also written various comic strips (see the Drawings section for details), written scripts for children’s telly (see the TV bit) as well as writing the odd bit of copy for local newspapers, and various websites.

Visit popmash.com, where you'll see some of my words gracing the homepage, which also went on to appear on a range of Popmash greeting cards.
In 2011 I was fortunate enough to have a comedy sketch accepted by the BBC, for their radio programme ‘Nrewsjack’. You can read about my adventures in radio, and listen to the aforementioned sketch, HITHER!
Keep your eyes firmly fixed on the blog, for further writing updates!
